Worst customer experience I've had. We ordered what was called Pad thai on the menu and got rice noodles floating in a kind of sweet and sour sauce. We took the food with us and went back to the hotel. When we opened the boxes, we got a surprise. The food tasted and smelled strange and was unlike anything else I have been served in Thai restaurants before. We immediately decided that this was food we did not want to eat and packed the food back into the bag. It's always a bit unpleasant to have to complain about food, but we agreed that it was so bad to have to pay NOK 350 for food we couldn't bear to eat that we took the food back to the restaurant to ask for a refund for the food . We were met with an absolutely insanely bad service. We explained the matter to the employee and she started scolding us. She stood shouting, so that there were several people passing by outside who turned to see what was going on. We tried to be matter-of-fact and explained to her that the food did not live up to expectations and that the dish we had been served did not resemble the picture or the description of the dish. She explained to us that it was our responsibility since we had taken the food out of the store with us and that a refund was completely out of the question. She repeated the same thing over and over in a very aggressive manner. We kept calm, but after a while she refused to talk to us any more. The food was left on the counter in the restaurant and we were not refunded any money. We also suggested that we could agree to get back NOK 250 of the NOK 350 we had paid. This was also flatly rejected and we were told that we didn't get as much as a krone. This has to be the worst customer experience everyone has had. Steer clear of this eatery. It is unbelievable that it is possible to behave like this towards customers.
