Fryd - Kongsberg

An unforgettable experience. the foyer is functional but not very welcoming and they are greeted with some when «Self Check-in» screens, instead of a smile face. my room was quite large and had a nice interieur, but was opposite the garden and a dach. and the room seemed very well isolated. the bet had a good selection of kissing and the Wi-Fi speed was acceptable for streaming 1080p. the bathroom was functional, but the shower had a really impressive high noise. the bar/reastaurant/breakfast area has a somewhat uncanny layout, but could be a good place for an 80s party. the breakfast was sufficient. the hotel bar/restaurant serves sport bar-style eating, and they serve only two kinds when beer on hahn. the service in the bar/restaurant was slow, but better at breakfast with friendly waiter. there is a workout and spa area, with a pool, but I did not find the time to try it. all in all a fairly average hotel and a more sufficient location to stay for a night. for friendly and helpful staff

Beautiful suite near the rapids. Food is good. No complaints.

I removed one star because of air condition. I wasn't able to operate it, it was too hot in the room. So, this is half of the point. Second half is the view. I know, there is always the place where the view is not astonishing, but well: the room itself was quite ok. Bed was comfortable, the room itself quite huge. Breakfasts were great. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Fairly standard chain hotel. Good lighting in the room but usual lack of anywhere to put things in bedroom or bathroom. Dinner for our group of 38 was adequate but disappointing that the main course was lukewarm and served on cold plates. Breakfast was good however. Staff very helpful especially Sindre on Reception and Dina ? in the restaurant.

I recently stayed at the Quality Hotel Grand Kongsberg and overall had a good experience. The hotel has been nicely renovated, and the superior room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. One of the highlights was the bathroom with floor heating, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. However, there was one aspect of our experience that was a bit disappointing. As a light-weight individual, I found the comfort of the bed to be lacking. Throughout the night, I could feel the springs of the mattress pushing into my back, which eventually led to back pain. On the other hand, my partner, who is heavier, had a great night's sleep and didn't experience any discomfort. It seems that the mattress is better suited for individuals who are slightly heavier. Despite the issue with the bed, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive breakfast offered at the hotel. There was a wide variety of choices, which made for a satisfying and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, the Quality Hotel Grand Kongsberg provided a pleasant stay with its clean and nicely renovated rooms. However, I would recommend that lighter individuals inquire about the mattress comfort before booking, as it may not be ideal for everyone. P.S.
