S-huset - Kongens Lyngby

After a ten mile hike through the gorgeous Klampenborg we were a little chilly from the rain and I was so glad to see this place as we got back to the main thoroughfare in front of Bakken. My friend grabbed a hot chocolate (authentic old school hot chocolate that was served in its own little kettle to refill your glass as you wished), with whipped cream alongside. I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet so I grabbed a coffee and was also really happy to get my own little carafe to refill my cup as we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the cool weather and the beautiful sky. Even though it misted on us a little (and the sweet guy that was working there kept rushing out to offer us a table inside) it was perfect! I highly recommend a stop here for drinks, I have to admit we didn't try the food so I can't address the other English review for this place on the food, but I'll say that in the middle of a June day we had no problems being served at all. It was lovely!

This is my best restaurant in Dyrehavsbakken. Peaceful with forest view, perfect dishes and nice service crew. Are you planning to visit Bakken this summer? Don't forget to visit this restaurant.

We had our Christmas family lunch/Dinner her at Peter Lieps Hus and the food was very well served and prepared. Thomas our server was very delightful and explained the Danish traditional serving quite well. There were8 of us and we all were served in a timely manner. We loved the stylish Danish settings, the coziness of the place made it feel as if you were at home with a Danish family in their dinning room. Very nice selection of Beers, wines, and food. We will return there again someday.

There is nothing worse on a super nice sunny day after walking in Dyrehaven to screw up the day than this place. We were served food after 2 hours of waiting!!! We even sat at the table for 30 minutes with uncollected dishes from the previous guests. When we were done and decided to leave we just chose to go to the counter to pay as we did not want to waste any more time. There is something obviously wrong in staff's understanding of being service minded as we stood for 5 minutes just to pay, 5 waiters passed and literally looking into our eyes chose to ignore
