Kukui'ula Fish Hut - KOLOA

Located within Kukui'ula Local Market among other eateries. Would eat the poke again if I was in the area, but tastes previously frozen and too salty for the price. They sell High Noon in this market too--good with your poke bowl.

This place came as a recommendation from the place we were staying while on Kauai. It was a decent poke spot with relatively fresh fish. The vibe was very much quick choice take away food. There are a few tables attached, but it is limited. We ended up finding a picnic table under a nearby tree that worked out! Food was decent but nothing amazing. I also got a Yerba Mate not knowing that it was an energy drink. Just a note for anyone else wondering what they are.

OMG, one of the best pokes I have ever had! The ahi was so fresh! There was more fish in the poke than rice (which is amazing!)On top of that, the sauce was delicious and guys who made it for us were extremely kind!Highly recommend to any poke hungry soul

Loved it. Fresh poke. It closes early at 5pm. Great lunch spot for sushi and poke.i liked the spicy poke.
