Chip Wrecked - KOLOA

My wife and I decided to come to taste these nacho after seeing them on Instagram. The owner was a really cool guy who customized our nachos to our taste and even donated some nachos to the bartenders of the next location we were going to visit. The nachos were of course awesome. The meats were well cooked and tasty. The toppings were super fresh and delicious! When we come back to Kauai we will be going back for sure!

After receiving a recommendation from one of our tour guides (shout out Johnny from KBA) about this place we decided to go try it out. We arrived and they were closing up for the day. But Justin, the man captaining the Chip Wrecked stopped us before we reached our car and gave us some warm tortilla chips that he had left over. Fast forward 18 hours. On our way out of town we stopped by to partake in what Johnny described as a mind melting nacho experience. We were not disappointed. Unlike other inferior nachos, the cheese at Chip Wrecked is layered exposing every chip in this nacho party to some cheesy goodness. Add some fresh and delicious ingredients on top on those toasty cheese covered chips and you have yourself pure nachovana. The only disappointment was that we found this place on the tail end of our vacay and couldn't enjoy it twice. Don't make the same mistake we did. #rookiemove

Tried at Kapaa's first Sat festival. We got a Mermaid one, and it disappeared so FAST! The best Nachos I ever had and changed my image of nachos. The toppings were all fresh and crunchy!

Best nachos I’ve ever had! Every chip had cheese and toppings on it not like most places that leave you with a bunch of plain chips after the top layer. All ingredients organic and super tasty. We got the black pearl and the hurricane ones. Delicious. We got to the truck late one day at a food truck festival and unfortunately sold out. Tracked him down the next day via Instagram and was well worth it. Highly recommend. Thanks, Justin!

The owner and chef was quite accommodating for all our dietary needs… He made our orders custom and amazingly delicious! We went back for seconds long with other people… Per Our sons, the best nachos ever!
