Local Gourmet - Kolkata (Calcutta)

Great food my go to place when I’m in Kolkata and the owner is very kind and helpful. I was on a diet and she made special lamb with zero salt. Highly recommend this place.

This was in my list for long and finally I got to taste their fine cooking skills!!! I must say this was the best juicy chicken burger I ever had!!! It had an aunthetic continental flavour!!! Those who are yet to experience this foodgasm plz go ahead and order some of their amazing dishes!!! Thanks local gourmet for quenching my continental cravings!!! By the way they make amazing desserts too...must try their trio sweet experience with red velvet cupcakes and strawberry, chocolate cups

Amazingly done my rib was! They are a passionate bunch of people and it shows in their food and meat quality! Will have to revisit soon. Love their preparations and the authenticity is a welcome change.

This is a cute little hole in the wall place with amazing food. The dishes are well cooked and very authentic taste. The owner and I share a common interest in fermented foods. A very quiet atmosphere, where people can work and enjoy great food.

Meat lovers paradise<br/ <br/ I lived in south Calcutta and always had a wide variety in food. In salt lake, initially the choices<br/ were limited. But then Local Gourmet opened and now I can pork, buff, chicken, turkey, duck<br/ whenever I want. The duck and turkey only available during winter. But their bbq buff is a must<br/ have during wintertime and the Lecter platter is a must during party at home!
