Bidra med feedbackThe food is good but the ambience and cleanliness could be better. We sat in the ac section and it had some mosquitoes and flies roaming around which was annoying. The service was quick and the food was delicious. We got the cheese pav bhaji, Mumbai sandwich, rava masala dosa, and tomato omelette along with coffee and fresh lime soda. A good spot next to the station if u want some good food in the area
Visited Shabari Restaurant near Santacruz Railway for the second time in two weeks to have a quick lunch. Fortunately, this time the food was good and not disappointing like the Pav Bhaji last week which was not upto the mark. This time we had Paneer Makhanwala with Tandoori Roti and luckily it turned out to be delicious choice and the portion was also decent enough for two people to eat well. For Dessert we had Chickoo milkshake and that also was excellent and not disappointing like the mango milk shake last time. Hope they maintain consistency so that we can visit often. Recently ordered from this place in office for breakfast as this place is famous for their south India food. The quality of food is outstanding. Order was on time infact before time. Food was freshly made. We ordered onion Uthappa and idli. This was served with chutney and sambhar. Chutney was really very tasty I’m not a chutney person but this I loved it. Highly recommended.
I loved the place. Good service. Paneer dishes are good. My personal fav: Paneer Makhanwala with Butter naan.
An excellent midrange restaurant Visited Shabari for a quick lunch It’s right near the Santacruz Station and so easily accessible to the office going crowd It’s nearly always full but the turnaround is also v fast There is seating in two levels for those wanting aircond to sit in an Ac section and a non AC section as well Ambience is average and pretty basic say 1/5 Cutlery is basic and should be improved on 1/5 Service is efficient and courteous 4/5 Specially wish to commend Guddu Shah who took good care of us Food: 4/5 Ordered Pav Bhaji : no other word than excellent Rawa Onion Masala Dosa: The dosa was crisp but the potatoes very okayish The sambhar was watery and after the first taste : left it The chutney was mediocre so wont be recommending their South Indian fare Schezwan Rice : nice and light and just right Kulfi Falooda: we ordered two to share amongst six and were very happy with the dessert Recommend this as well Rating it a Four because of the food and the service The cost came to about 180 Rs per person
