Bidra med feedbackOrdered Sinful Cappuccino and Ham&Cheese Sandwich. Both tasted really good. The cappuccino had a perfect balance of flavours. The cinnamon powder on the top was a nice touch. The ham&cheese sandwich too was really good. The ham was perfectly good and was juicy. The bread was fresh and tasted nice as well. We also ordered the Chocolate truffle pastry. This was with out a doubt one of the best chocolate truffles I have ever had. It was fresh, delicious and it just melted in the mouth. A must visit place.
The place is very warm and cozy with simple decor and also had plenty of sitting table so there can't be fuss. It is good for chilling with your friends and family. You can spend as much as time you want. I decided to try it for the first time and I must say it was absolutely a great decision. Its value for money and the quality is exceptionally good. The pricing is reasonable. The service was on time and the staff was also courteous. It a must visit place which has plenty of beverages to choose from, as this is more a coffee house than a restaurant. Serves breakfast all day long. I tried Vietnamese iced coffee, French fries with cheese sauce, BCH fried chicken burger, Grilled Chicken Steak and Chocolate truffle cake.
The ambiance of this cafe is really cool. The place is humongous and can cater to good number of people. The cafe has various types of seating arrangements for all types of customers like Singles, Couples, Groups, Big Groups, etc. The music is desi i.e. Indian and feels different as this isn't the case at other cafes. The menu is vast and has variety of Coffee and other beverages to choose from. It has plenty of good food options from various cuisines too. I've tasted number of Coffees at this place and they've all impressed me with their great taste and quality. The one which stood out amongst all was the Cold Coconut Coffee as it's taste was delicious and I could sense real coconut. In the side orders, I ordered two different types of Sandwiches and though they weren't the best one I've had they tasted pretty decent. The quality and quantity was pretty nice. The pricing is high and the place is a bit expensive. The service was surprisingly slow but they made up for it with everything else.
Bombay Coffee House, an exceptionally well themed restaurant which speaks volumes about our city, Bombay. You have your normal seatings in the first half of the cafe, second half has couch, cushioned chairs accompanied by a table with a side shelf having all the artifacts of Bombay on it. Opposite to it is the fancy old-school looking dessert bar. They serve Coffee, Desserts, European, Asian, American curated dishes. Started my proceedings with Irish Cream Coffee and Salted Caramal Hot Chocolate. Irish was as perfect as it could get, well brewed coffee with a rich cream on the top. a best drink to start it off. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate was a tad biy salty to me but it had a great after taste, but, a marshmallow or two could have make this drink better. For Appetizers, called for Pulled Pork Roll, BCH Special Burger. Roll was really good in taste the meat with the sauce with the delectable buns. Burger was a little off for me, might be sauce which was unique, but the burger was well made and the egg was a surprise element in there. Pondicherry Fruit Tizane, a perfect chill summer drink, leans to sweet side. this drink is a great accompaniment. Lemon Grass Ice Tea, wanted to try this than the usual Peach and Lemon. Definitely very refreshing and unique to taste. I never miss an opportunity to have an English Breakfast, liked the sunny-side up finely made, the sausage, bacon and the hash brownie were perfect. Adding the charm was the Croissant, the soft bread with layer crust was worth every penny. Chicken Steak, was served with Creamy Spinach and Mushroom sauce with Garlic Bread. Perfectly made steak with the well cooked sauce, mushroom sauce. the sauce was so delectable. definitely you should bookmark. Ended my meal with Creme Brulee, is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a texturally contrasting layer of hardened caramelized sugar, a beauty nonetheless tasted so good and served with a toast biscuit. Red Velvet Jar, one of the best Red Velvet tasted in a while, cake served in a Jar. the cream and the moistness of it was heavenly. Really loved this place, the vibe and the ambiance put together. They also run quirky offers on daily basis. For Example, they had a 20% discount on the bill if you were carrying a Passport. So many reasons to visit, You cannot ignore.
Bombay Coffee House is that hidden gem that deserves to be more mainstream. A lot more people should experience the food here. I highly recommend you try the Gooey Chocolate Brownie with White Chocolate Ice cream. This dessert is one of the best I've had. I absolutely regretted sharing it with my friends. The brownie was so moist and the white chocolate ice cream was dense in a good way. The combination was divine and might I say, much better than a traditional Sizzling Brownie. We also had the Creme Brulé. Compared to the other dessert, this wasn't the best. The service is good. There are multiple servers available on deck. Filled with comfy couches and warm lighting, you can sit comfortably at Bombay Coffee House for hours and hours while enjoying one of the many books they have available in their mini library.
