Bidra med feedbackI went here with my daughter and sister-in-law for a quick pre-dinner cocktail and was talked into trying the cauliflower appetizer. It was DELICIOUS! The cauliflower was firm, not mushy, the coating had a hint of spice and the dipping sauce was subtle but flavorful. If you stop here, this dish is a must!
Mucho thanks to Brett the bartender for his excellent Thai Curry **** Mary that was paired with a Pistachio nut Brown ale by Plymouth Brewing. I'll be back! -WiscoMary
A delicious and classy place to stop for dinner. The side of brussels sprouts were to die for. My husband shared some of his meal, the pork chop with grits. Oh my gosh! It was incredible and I don't even like pork chops! We loved the live music and would dine again to hear artists play.
If you are staying at the inn on Woodlake I certainly recommend. Location is great (3 min walk) and the food/service was great. All this without breaking the bank, which is easy to do in Kholer. I have seen some poor reviews, but we had a very good experience and I would recommend.
I order Shashito peppers for an appetizer, Expresso Martini for my drink, and the special of the day Smoked salmon eggs benadic I started off with the appetizer Shashito peppers. The presentation was well put together. However, at first bite I was slightly dissapointed. The peppers were left whole so I had to attempt to cut the stem off each pepper I ate. The cream cheese was unseasoned and the peppers were u ncharred leaving them soft, oily and bland. They were topped with bacon, seasoned crumbs and pickled onion. For my drink I chose the Expresso Martini. I was very impressed with its presentation and flavor! The martini had a nice Froth topped with a hint of powder leaving this drink with a wonderful chocolate kick. Last was the main course. Smoked Salmon eggs benadic with a side of crispy chips. I cannot express how tasty this meal was. The eggs were poached to a fluffy texture and rich creamy consistent egg yolk middle. Topped with a well seasoned benadic sauce. The kicker was the tangy tomatoe jam adding a real zest to it a all. The Smoked salmon it rested on was potent in a hickory flavor that settled nicely on the pallette and combined well with the over all dish. I would definitely recommend this again. Total spend was $43.00 I even have to give it to the staff. They were polite and on top of things. I do recommend either a reservation for lunch or getting there before the rush or you will have abit of a wait. 8 out of ten would recommend.
