Bidra med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is both delicious and of high quality. In addition, all profits from the establishment go towards a worthy cause, making dining here a feel-good experience. The location is convenient and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
For those looking for a set menu or a vegan burger, be sure to ask for the vegan set menu. The menu changes daily and includes three elements each day, along with a free appetizer. All three dishes are served on one plate and are of high quality. I particularly enjoyed the tofu wrapped in pepper leaf, the Massaman Curry (even though I usually don't like Massaman), and the roast sweet potato on Thai salad. Happy hour is before 6:30 and the prices are reasonable by Thai standards, but cheap compared to Western prices. I highly recommend dining here. This review was updated on December 30, 2019.
The vegan burger at this restaurant is fantastic! Even my non-vegan friend enjoyed it. The staff is friendly, and knowing that you are supporting a good cause by dining here makes it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.
Love their good cause that all profits for animal welfare (which is worth a visit), but the cooking class for vegan can be better organized. It was a disappointment when “normal” people had to replace fu, yarn and egg as ingredients in the pad Thai, we had a tiny pinch of tofu dice and nothing else. The same amount as all other vegans should pay a same amount of calorie intake as all others, but no, it felt a little respectful. With fewer ingredients in it, we were still told the same amount of spices as other people, the result was much too salty. For another dish, while the rest of the students had fish, we had only a small half of the sweet potatoes, it was obviously not enough food also for my little appetite. Another disappointment was that on schedule it was the production of green curry paste, but turns out red curry for no reason. Finally, Time for Lime is more appreciated as the founder of animal welfare if you think a little more for vegan people who also try to stop the sufferings of all animals.
Easily my favorite meal I’ve had in Thailand, and we’ve been living in Bangkok for the last 10 months. We stumbled upon Time for Lime and decided to try it as I recognized the name from Happy Cow despite the mixed reviews. I don’t know how this place isn’t rated higher!! The food is Absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully presented, super flavorful, and creative. They have a separate vegan menu and each day of the week has a set menu of 4 dishes. Yes there is a sign saying adults only but this is only because they dont have child specific menu items.. we went with our 2 year old and she had plenty to eat from our plates and there were several other babies there as well.. so the sign and previous reviews are misleading. We enjoyed it so much we are going back for a second night in a row. Please go and support this special place and the Lanta animal shelter! some of the proceeds go to the shelter)
