Beautiful, small hotel with very good starting point for various activities in Saxon Switzerland. Nice, helpful and accommodating staff

General We used the long journey weekend to explore the beautiful Saxon Switzerland around Königstein with friends. The fortress and the lily stone were our goals, these are good from the hotel and definitely also on foot. Operation Friendly, fast and ready... Coffee and cocoa were brought to the table in stainless steel containers, tea, juices, water, food there was at the breakfast buffet, so the service was not overwhelmed and could focus on cleaning. The Essen Schade, location and view in the breakfast room perfect, fortress Königstein, Elbetal and Lilienstein in good weather in the best view. Unfortunately, food and beverages (standard offer of a discounter) are presented and offered in a rather sweet manner. Ambience is expedient and dominated by the salt caves marketing. Noise level of road and railway in the Elb Valley is fine. Cleanliness The staff tried to ensure cleanliness at the table and otherwise we had a positive impression. Only in the aforementioned art flowers table decorations and the decorative art palm in the pavilion had unfortunately already used the certain operating blindness.
