Very good restaurant a little away from the old town and the city center. good service and very nice presentation of the food. colsch bier is always good. the restaurant with view of the Rhine. I would recommend this restaurant.

We arrived rather by chance at the restaurant of the hotel rheinstation. we wanted to see more from the Rhine south of the carnival center, the tramway on the new market (direction bad Godesberg/Sürth) to the suburb Rodenkirchen. we went out with Heinrich-Lübcke-Ufer. from there it is just...a few steps to a beautiful trail called "rodenkirchener leinpfad ". in the direction of the bridge "rodenkirchener brücke" we met a series of restaurants on moorboots, like the famous red-white strip "bootshaus alte Liebe", but on a sunny day they were all full. we went on and arrived at the hotel restaurant rheinstation. because the huge al fresco area of the restaurant is situated on various flats, there is a beautiful view of the Rhine from everywhere. the upper terrace is flanked by the picturesque white church of old sankt maternus. the menu offers them some German dishes, pasta, burger and salate. we had a truthahnsalat and a chili burger and a good beer and wein. eating was not great and somewhat expensive, but the atmosphere on the Rhine station is very relaxed and the service is friendly, which probably explains its popularity. the visit of the interior of sankt maternus is not necessary, but history and architecture lovers want to take a look at the restaurant behind the church, both located in old houses, in the restaurant to the treppchen and restaurant ferryhouse.

Bei tollem Wetter waren wir an einem Maiabend zu einem Geburtstagsessen eingeladen, das Lokal brummte, und wahrscheinlich deshalb war der Service völlig überfordert. Die Karte bietet lediglich eine kleine Auswahl, letztendlich zeigten sich alle Gäste mit der Qualität der bestellten Speisen, auf die wir ewig warten mussten, zufrieden, Das beste an der Location ist der Blick auf den Rhein und die vorbeiziehenden Schiffe.

Habe heute am 28.5.2017 meinen Geburtstag hier gefeiert, muss sagen es war alles top organisiert, alle Gäste sehr zufrieden, hat allen sehr gut gefallen, auch das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist sehr gut! Wir kommen wieder. Vielen DankSigrid Holländers
