My Balkan Tour continues. Today, at about 21:00, on the return journey from Baden Württemberg, I once again came over the pleasure of Cevapcici. Why not visit the Hotel Restaurant Zagreb in Cologne Holweide again after a long time. Sayed. If you take the exit No. 26 Cologne Dellbrück from the A3 and stay on the left at the top of the traffic light, you will find yourself on Bergisch Gladbacher Straße. After two minutes approx. 800m on the right is the Hotel Restaurant Zagreb, which has probably been around. 30 years is a small family business. On the right and left of the local are parking bays (weekdays with payment) or on the other side of the street many residential parking spaces, which can be used free of charge by strangers outside the normal business hours of the neighboring shops (evening and Saturday afternoons and Sundays all day). The entrance to the restaurant is located right next to the house the white door. (In front of the door there was a show that the restaurant would be open and it would have a new phone number, see photos in the annex). There is no restaurant in the front area to the street. The restaurant is rear-mounted. There is also a beer garden for warm days. There are 80 seats in the air-conditioned restaurant. Right after the entrance there is the drink counter left and behind the kitchen. Inside it is very nice and quite modern furnished. The tables are all with color matching fabric table cloths and paper-served cutlery, a modern salt pepper shaker, a vase with a fresh rose as well as a nice glass vessel with a tealight inside, which was not helped by the waiter to burn at me I can also feed well without funeral light. There is also a performer with various red white wine offers. The place is well maintained. Since a large group of visitors was sitting in the back area at an advanced age and already finished with food, the volume level was slightly higher this time than usual. I was greeted by a gentleman of mature age (besides him two younger ladies were present in service) and asked for a table for 1 person. I was allowed to choose one of three free fours. With the richness of the menu I was asked directly by him for a drink request. I ordered a large Coca Cola, which in the shortest time perfectly tempered, but with additional ice cubes, served by the young woman behind the drinks counter after a welcome. The Cola was in a 0.4l glass and was later calculated at € 4. The menu includes the typical Croatian classics, as well as various appetizers, steaks, fish dishes, international dishes, and there were still some current daily dishes. For me, of course, it should be the national court Cevapcici with a change in the supplement salad for 9,90€. After a very short waiting period, I received my supplemental salad from the second younger waitress, which was served as ordered for my full satisfaction. This was still decorated with a small tube and two Ruccola leaves and it was very tasty and fresh. The waitress was very attentive and immediately saw my empty salad plate. She asked if it had tasted me and took the empty plate right away. After a pleasant waiting period, the waiter at the mature age served me my Cecapci dish and wished me a good appetite. On the plate were 7 well seasoned and not too dry Cevapcici with pleasant knobinote, plentiful thin pommes frites, a very good amount of tasty hot Djuwet screams with additionally also good taste (which was really well done), a few raw onions and a slice of decoration tube. I also got a small bowl of very piquant Ajvar. This piquant ajvar quantity was enough for me. I had previously read in the menu that a portion of pikants Ajvar is calculated at €2, but this small bowl was part of the menu. For my dinner today, I can countlessly forgive 4 stars. After eating, the empty plate was removed from the Lord with the casual, lustless question whether it would have tasted what I was chasing. Some kind of service according to instructions, just don't smile or show some ease, the mimic of the young ladies was quite different and much more friendly (not played). I asked for the bill at the same time. Since the waitress, who actually cashed, was actually busy with some of the billing from the larger group. After a short time, he laid a small leather coat with a neat cashier on the table. I paid my 13,90 tip and ordered a Julischka as a baggage last three times. This was then served very quickly cooled by him. Since I know that there is always a Slivo or Julischka here after dinner in the account of the house, even all the guests at the side tables have received this today except me, I could not let it ask him with my change money before me on the table, what he would still get for it he was just so with his hand to the side, he was then free for me today. Sorry, for his performance, there would have been only 2 stars for me this time, but the two nice and flashing ladies have been able to do it again, so that I come out at 3 stars for today's service. I was also very nicely approved by the ladies. Conclusion: Nice ambience and really delicious food to a decent PLV. I'm sure we'll be back there on occasion.
