Restaurant Gandhi - Köln

I haven't experienced this yet! Called today at 11.30 a.m. to give up an order, and on the phone told me a tedious voice that you only opened at 13 a.m. and the boss is not there. Can no one cook except the boss? The website shows that Tuesday to Thursday and weekends are open from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Then I went by, because I couldn't believe the store was opened at 13.00. In fact, at the entrance is 11.30 a.m. 10 hungry colleagues were totally disappointed and I had to sacrifice two hours of my working time to order and pick up something in vain at an Indian restaurant in Cologne-Dellbrück. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!! The place is dead for me.

There are many vegetarian dishes and the prices are ok. Definitely recommended!

Admittedly, not everything is perfect: the location in the immediate vicinity of supermarket and gambling hall, in the middle of a residential area on the edge of Cologne Dellbrück is not very idyllic but at most practical. The ambience suffers in the room layout somewhat under the trimming of the 'Kneipe', which is well established there, but tasteful table and wall decoration in combination with proper tableing and seating do their best so that the guest feels comfortable. Different the food, here everything was true during our visit. The Gandhi plate for 2 people with three tasty sauces as an appetizer, although a little 'freeze' but good. The specialties of the chef 'Anuka Milap' and 'Karachi Spezial' (both lamb chicken variations, plus fresh Naan bread (natural garlic, very beautifully spiced and not emphasized to coriander. For dessert 'Firni ', a really tasty and not too heavy milk rice variation with unobtrusive rose water aroma. A hot 'Masala Chai' with light honey aroma perfect. All served by a very nice service and with a white good price performance ratio (food and drinks more than full for about 25€ . Attention: No payment by EC or credit card only laughs cash. Small deduction for location Ambiente therefore 4 instead of 5 points even if it had earned the food....

With the new owner, the place has become even more friendly. Food and prices vote. Also as take away place very good.

Eat something above the level of a pizza delivery service. Extensive menu and friendly service.
