To be recommended strongly !! Perfect for lunch, to chill out and to admire a panaramic view on a cathedral and the river side

A perfect place to see the world go by, especially the boats on the Rhine with the magnificent city skyline in the background. A place to be on a sunny day with very personal and friendly service from the local celebrity owner and his delightful staff.Inside the place is full of memorabilia, mostly centered around the local football club FC Köln. A genuine all season pub/restaurant.

Visited here when in Colonge for the weekend. A great place for a pint and to watch the sunset. We may have eaten but the staff were very busy and not very engaging. The menu was I German with no English version offered. The manager / owner does wander around but does not seem to do anything but tell the only two waitresses what to do when they are already rushed off their feet. Worth stopping for a beer if you want to see the sunset. The bathroom does seem to be shrine to the owner and is a bit strange.

The food was good. The atmosphere was great!! It had just rained and the sun was out and shining on the Rhein. It was quiet and people kept to themselves. Waitress was friendly and explained the menu.
