The Shrimp - Koebenhavn

We had to try a new place and fell over this. It is not super easy to find the restaurant. It is a little stored, behind reception and bar. Here is quite cozy, but a little bad acoustics... The service is nice. But I wonder that in a nearly otherwise empty restaurant, you must be placed right up the other guests. The food is delicious and nice. And the bread is amazing.

Visited restaurant with dining week. First 3 dishes fine with blasp. good cod, pray and tartar. Service was impeccable. Then there came two dishes as if they were composed by another chef. EN indifferent dish with chicken and a dessert with the passionsis where the tastes did not hang together as we had to leave on the plate.

The stars show everything about our experience. A lovely gem in Kongens Copenhagen close to Amalienborg is this beautiful restaurant The Shrimp at Hotel St. Stephen. Annæ which is located in gentler restored buildings from the old Copenhagen. 6 well-appointed dishes are great tranquility for the kitchen delicate and delicious. 3 beautiful servants made sure that everything was served with the greatest love for us guests and for the kitchen’s beautiful directions Great respect thanks I blir have to rose our sweet asmelier as a convincing way guided to 3 good wine experience that we would not have chosen. Thanks The Shrimp gets our hottest recommendation. Casual good service right after our taste.

Had one of our most memorable dinners in Copenhagen here. Foods out of this world, service is top notch and atmosphere is just perfect. One of the best restaurants in Denmark!

Firstly it’s worth saying that the good here is very good. Not exceptional but good enough. The wine is staggeringly overpriced but it is Copenhagen. Secondly the waitress was superb. Very attentive charming helpful and friendly. However there was an almost 45 gap between starter and main course. Then very annoyingly in retrospect the card machines declined four different payment cards so I had to find an ATM to get cash to pay using one of the same cards! . There was no reason at our end why they should have been declined in the first place. The currency conversion charge at the ATM was very steep but I had no choice and consequently the meal probably cost us more than 200DKK extra.
