This is a nice place with a calm atmosphere, but the food was mediocre and the service was lengthy. The cost for a set menu on Christmas Eve was extortionate for the food we got.

I've been to Copenhagen 3 times this year, and keep coming back to Chapung. While the menu is limited, what's on the menu is delicious... But, it's the lovely staff service that's also worth writing a postiive review about. Special thanks to Giovanni, who has made each visit really lovely with his hospitality and smile. I'm sure I'll return here again in the future!

Upon entry we waited 15 minutes to be served, but when we asked a waiter to serve us, he brought us complimentary prosecco as an apology (very kind of them, totally not needed, but none the less appreciated) Particular shout out to Giovanni and Andy for making us feel so welcome, chatting to us throughout the night telling us about the city and sights. Food, was incredible, would recommend the pork and salmon!

Great experience! Just like the hotel, the restaurant offers an evening to remember The amazing food seasoned with great service and an intriguing atmosphere send us on an instant trip to a great Balinese hideaway. We ended the night with drinks on the terrace. Can definitely recommend the New Fashioned

This ‘restaurant’ is the worst we have ever visited. I thought there was no way that the reviews I’d read online would prove to be true, but they were. Service was awful, ambience was dull and the food!! The food was terrible, none of it was fresh and it was like something I could make with £5 worth of ingredients, yet it cost us about £150 for 1 starter, main and drink each. Crazy. And for that money, the waitress actually took our dirty cutlery off the starter plates when clearing them, and left it there for us to use on the mains. Bizarre. When we alerted the server to the poor quality, overdone food, nothing was offered and no compensation was agreed to. I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt the need to tell everyone to AVOID this place! Don’t get suckered in by the nice Instagram photos like we did!
