Mado - Koebenhavn

Average food quality. High prices and not everything from their menu card is available. Been there 4-5 times and only for the sake of the location (good choice for business meetings in downtown). Otherwise you’ll find much better and cheaper food few blocks away

Three years ago I visited the restaurant with my family and som guests , we were so glad and pleased with the visit that time , so we decided to visit the restaurant during our visit to Copenhagen . It was totally different, the stools were dirty , the food was bad , we ordered food , dessert, and juice, all was so bad , the menu was not with the variety that was before, food was not delicious, the sweets was horrible, the juice was tasty as it is old . The cleanliness was bad , i saw the man who served the food with a cloth in his hand to clean a table the cloth felt on the floor , he picked it up and continue. We were ten persons but nobody of us was pleased. Then we decided not to repeat that visit. I don’t recommend the restaurant at all .

Not like the Mado you know from Istanbul. I got a breakfast which was really bad and far away from the standard you would expect from a Mado. Also the service was really bad, staff didnt know what things where, was slow and didnt mind dirty plate and old food. Wouldnt go there again, really disapointing.

This place seemed like a diner to us. Menu had lots of choices. We had omlettes and ice cream which were both good and the waitress was very nice. Close to Tivoli.

In Turkey Mado is a fine chain. In Copenhagen it is close to horrible. Bad food (any Turk from Turkey certainly would send the food back to the kitchen) and inattentive staff who don’t seem to know or care what they are serving.
