Bidra med feedbackHigh-quality food with flavor and not overwhelming. Breakfast for two with drinks was $40. Both good for sit-down service and take-out.
Everyone is so nice. The food is delicious as well as the coffees. They truly cater to their customers, providing gluten free options and creating latte art extras that aren't always a must. The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you want to stay and be cozy.
Monk's Rock is one of those hidden gems you love to discover while traveling. It’s a fantastic local spot for gifts, coffee, lunch, and occasionally dinner. The donuts are incredible, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Be sure to make a stop here!
This is a lovely spot for a quick lunch. The artisan sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side, and seating is somewhat limited, but I learned that it's run by students from a local seminary, which adds to the friendly and cheerful atmosphere. The gift shop is quite distinctive, featuring a variety of icons, matryoshka dolls, and local crafts. The dining area is adorned with recycled artwork, including placemats and rugs made from used boat ropes and other nautical items. I enjoyed a generous turkey and cheese sandwich with a flavorful mayo, while my daughter-in-law had a veggie burger that she said was excellent. Parking can be a challenge, and it's best to approach from the south, but if you have some time, this place is a much better option than the McDonald's across the street.
I’m so excited that they have delicious vegetarian options! Their menu features several choices, but today I tried the #13 Veggie Burger along with a cup of Borscht. The burger was outstanding, and I really enjoyed the Borscht as well. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be returning!
