Common Grounds Coffee - Ko Pha-Ngan

As soon as I read the menu I recognized the signature of Chef Zev Beck’s culinary creativity everywhere! Who knew he’d open up his latest restaurant in Koh Pha-Ngan! Chef Zev has cooked for many of the top kitchens all around the world. His wide experience has both enriched and honed his skills in Jerusalem, N.Y.C., San Francisco, Vancouver, Hawaii, the Caribbean, the Swiss Alps… and now Koh Pha-Ngan. Chef Zev is a master of engaging all the senses. The colorful tropical garden setting of his latest island venture is absolute heaven. Prepared with love, care and devotion, Chef Zev’s culinary magic is food for the gods.

I had a very expensive blended coffee that only tasted like water, no flavor at all. When I asked the older lady at the register to add some coffee or flavoring, she looked at me angrily, stated no else has complained, and told me I could not come back… Don’t worry.. won’t be a problem. A glass of water would’ve been more satisfying.

A common ground coffee is one of my favorite cafés here. what is not to love? between the pool and the best Cobb salad on the island?! the personal is also super friendly. a must.

A real surprise. Beautiful, hidden, has a great pool, beyond the meat burger rocks, coffee is quite good. Amazing stuff and awesome bakery. Also, Ruben sandwich is spectacular

The owner is very nice and so friendly. the icy latte is okay, but we like it at another place. So, recommend to taste other dishes and enjoy the pool here.
