At The Mere Court - Knutsford

An outstanding evening in Mere Court’s new Pod. Warm, cosy, atmospheric, intimate and one of the most unique enviable dining experiences we have had. If you’re planning something special, it’s more than a good shout!

I was disappointed with parts of the meal had fries was expecting home made chips and the veg was peppers and courgettes instead of normal veg the steak was lovely. The room was small as only a few guests and no atmosphere. We felt that we had to whisper

Our first visit to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending to others.

This was the first day of opening since lockdown so very quiet, only one other couple. Cutlery on table (thought that was not allowed). Waiter in mask and gloves with minimal contact. Set menu for £30 included in our DBB stay. Food was fine but nothing amazing. It was just nice to be out.

Nice meal although a tiny piece of bread with both our starters. Steak was cooked correctly,rare, but on a cold plate so was a little cool. Some vegetables would have been nice with the pork, just had dauphinois. Pudding was tasty. Nice bake wall tart and sticky toffee was good, glad we asked for cream as sticky toffee very rich.
