Swamp Fox Pub Grill - Knoxville

The food was tasty, but the atmosphere was a bit too much. I appreciate unique and eclectic decor, and this restaurant certainly had a lot of options to choose from. However, it felt like they went overboard with the Pinterest-style decorations.

We are in town for RAGBRAI and arrived at 5 pm. We were seated and ordered food and drinks, including 4 burgers. It is now 7 pm and we have only received our drinks, with no sign of our food yet. Perhaps...

My family and I decided to try something different since we have been disappointed with all the other restaurants in town. We were all pleasantly surprised by this place! The steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions was comparable to a 4-star restaurant. Knoxville has been lacking in cultural dining options, but this restaurant is a standout with excellent wine at a great price. We will definitely be dining here exclusively on our next visit.

Simple brew pub with delicious food. The steak is a standout, cooked just right. The seasoning is nothing extraordinary, but still tasty. The selection of drinks and beers is decent.
