Shoney's Rutledge Pike - Knoxville

I pour alone, but received the right amount of attention, generous with refills, curious and pleasant servers. The food options were good. I ordered from the menu, enjoyed their salad bar on a previous trip. The food was well cooked and tasteful. The atmosphere was refreshing with music from the 50s and 60s. It may not be for everyone, but it works for me. Overall a good experience.

Omg! What a wonderful place. We're from Alaska. And they treated us so well on our long journey. Billy was our server and was very attentive, enthusiastic and polite. The food was great. Kykeigh and ebony were the other servers and they helped a lot. But man, Billy was something else. A special talent. What a gentleman, what a place.

First time I've ever been to this shoneys. It was clean. The staff was very friendly. The manager was very nice. I would gladly return. We wish they would update the inside a little, though! But that doesn't take away from the good experience.

We love this place. Servers are awesome. Food is great. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is the lady who works the bar during the mornings and lunch. She is extremely rude. Takes things out of your hands. Tries to ration out the bar food. Huffs at you if you don’t take what’s on top. It’s a real weird time. The pentagram around her neck ks pretty distasteful as well.

There were a few people working hard but our server just left menus and never came back. We had to ask someone else to get us drinks and then went to the buffet without even ordering. A lot of the food looked like it had been sitting out for days. The food that looked fresh was good.
