Paco's Tacos - Knoxville

I have been here several times and always forget to take some photos. Some of the best food in the area. I had to Torta with steak and my daughter had the fajita quesadilla. Both were fantastic, as usual. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food here is delicious. The homemade tacos are wonderful and the variety is great. We spilled a sticky drink and the manager graciously cleaned it for us. The service is as good as the food. This is not a fine dining restaurant but it is as friendly and the food as tasty as you can find. Try the Mexican Street Corn. Gluten free options are terrific and clearly marked. I will definitely eat here again. Vegetarian options: We both had the India Maria burrito. She couldn’t finish hers because it was so large. I got mine in a bowl with the homemade corn tacos on the side and it was more than I could finish too. Delicious though, especially with tomatillo salsa from the salsa bar. Dietary restrictions: My friend is vegetarian and I’m gluten free. We were both surprised by the choices we had. Much better than most other places.

Trying this for the first time today. Wow, great food!! It’s been hard to find good flavorful Mexican food since moving here from AZ 3 years ago. Friendly employees and great service. Nice place and I'm sure I'll go back. I only had a taco, for a trial run....but it was very good. The corn tortilla was really nice; wish I could make them that well. Filling was fine, although I'd have loved to have the taco done the more traditional style, with them giving me a bowl of onions and a bowl of cilantro and letting me add as I wish (I'm a cilantro fanatic). The salsa bar had several nice alternatives but gee, it sure seemed difficult to get the salsa out of the small slot without spilling any! I want to try MORE next time, even though the price per taco is a bit steep for the area. The quality of the meat etc. made that a small issue, though.

I've been a long time fan. I went there today after not visiting for a while and it still is amazing. Everything is delicious. They have variety and a lot of their dishes are unique. I had the Cantinflas burrito because even after months the cashier knew exactly what I have ordered most often. The ambiance is great with abstract artwork of famous Mexican persons. It's not corporate and not the kind of place with tons of sombreros around. You have to try it. It's the only place I regularly go out to now.
