El Mezcal - Knoxville

Beef was clearly frozen and old, and management didn?t seem to care to do anything about it. Instead, they defended their product, insisting that they made everything fresh daily, when clearly, that is not the case. I wouldn?t recommend this place toanybody. Not even to literal cockroaches. Our menus had a smell of mildew like they had been wiped with soggy, dirty rags. Eatthe food if you want to get sick, but otherwise, avoid it.

Food was good, little more expensive than what I'm used to for Mexican food. Salsa and cheese was too spicy for my 6 year old. Servers were nice.

I love the mezcal with chorizo. That's really good. My only complaint is that it takes a little longer for a waitress to ask me for my drunk order. I to be honest get a little frustrated at times.

We will be back. So much food for the money of take home leftovers. Queso Fundido was the best we ever had and a huge portion with leftover. reasonable prices friendly staff good service.
