They do not pay their staff completely or correctly, pay overtime in cash to avoid the extra .5 per hour that pay overtime. They have bugs coming through ventilation that is not filtered, landing on/near dishes and food preparation areas and not cleaned before food is served to customers. Eating dreadfully overpriced and terrible tasting, Gravy should not taste as if you suck again on a pure stick of butter, what await you when the one cook thinks that a medium pot needs 1 pound of butter/margarine to make Gravy. Unless you want to support gambling liars, or would like a nice cause of food poisoning I recommend Mikey's or the bar for actually decent expensive foods that really tastes good and not tasteless.

We stopped on our way home from Drumheller. My mother grew up in Carbon, so we gave the grandchildren a tour of the city. The service was friendly, the food delicious and huge portions. Very good value. Children want to go back and even tried and loved some new foods.

Finding a place out in, what most city people would call, 'the middle of nowhere '. Well I was surprised. Ordered three apps, a child 's menu item and two full meals beverages and after tax was just over 100$. Saying that: We 'll have left overs as the portions we 're great. Ordered the steak and prawns with fries and soup. The fries were freshly made The soup was the seafood chowder and was a 3/5 in my books. The steak was a good 10oz portion and delivered a rounded steak spice. The veggies that accompanied the order we 're fresh and flavourful. My daughter received a half order of spaghetti and she was very happy and she has enough for at least another meal if not more. My wife well she ordered a lasagna and it was at least four portions for her. She was happy with the flavour. So the atmosphere was calm, friendly server, lite well, comfortable seats and benches. So if your out in this neck of the woods, stop in,ear your fill and enjoy the well put together restaurant and lounge.

Seriously good food. Our server was an absolute pleasure. 10/10 would eat there again
