John Dory's Kloof

Visited Kevin and his fantastic team at Kloof branch tonight and left overwhelmingly satisfied! Chico served us with friendly and excellent service! Dining with 3 small children, there was a sence of urgency which we appreciated! Well done to Kevin and his team for outstanding service and quality! We will most definitely be back!

John Dorys is always good value for money. I have never had a bad meal at any of their shops. The service was good. Their mussel bowl starter is delicious and big enough to be a meal by its self.

Service: Waiter was a 5/5 excellent person with a great sense of humour. Manager was quite decent as well. Ambiance: Quite standard, as expected. Food: Here 's the downer their grilled fish options were amazing, though the calamari was inedible. The manager was quick to take note of it, as it seems to be a common problem due to 'supplier quality ' concerns. I would have given a 5 star review, yet you really need to do something about your calamari first.

We went there for dinner for the first time last night. I was so impressed with my meal and service. I had the chicken schnitzel and calamari cubes and it was so tender and juicy and not to mention I could not finish it it was such a big helping. And we also had the pleasure of meeting the manageress who is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant thank you for having us.

Our favorite John Dory's branch. We had the Tuesday special. As usual our fish was beautifully cooked and tasted fresh and was delicious. Our chips were yummy too and kept hot for quite a while. I had garlic butter and my friend had lemon butter. For pud my favorite was ice cream and choc sauce(always good),my friend had mini donuts with caramel sauce. She found them to be doughy so wouldnt order them again. Service was good even tho they were busy.
