Ruddy Duck At Running Y Resort

The room was great with a beautiful view and windows that opened. The Ruddy Duck food and service were superb, but the meal was a slow two hours at dinner. Breakfast was fast and I highly recommend the Cooper's Hawk omelette. The open-ended shower design in the bathroom is annoying. Also needs a ledge or bench to prop a leg upon.

We had a wonderful evening enjoying the view from our room and later having dinner inside the resort at The Ruddy Duck. The food was absolutely excellent. My husband has been a chef for 20+ years and we both enjoyed the meal and the service more then we have then at any other place we have dined at in the last 5 years. Our room was clean and spacious, and bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept beautifully. We enjoyed the view again this morning before having some equally excellent breakfast. We both agreed we will be back and often at that.

This is our second year at this property and we absolutely love it. I have a big gap in ages for my kids so all the different activities are fantastic. We love the courts. My teenager and I were out on them playing pickle ball everyday, and the entire family enjoyed the pool. There are beautiful trails and paths to walk. There is a pond with frogs and critters to sit and watch, park for the kids to play at. We walked to the restaurant, The Ponderosa, great food and decent beer selection. Convenient little store and deli. We had a great time

Golf course is breath-taking! Facilities are fabulous! and the Personnel are professional and courteous always. Love this place!

By far the best experience my wife and I have had to date. Even though it was during the slow period , we were amazed at all the fun things we got to do! Hotel staff is top notch! The rooms are great and best hotel bed I have ever slept on! Thanks for making our honeymoon the best!
