Many thanks for the thoughtful and personal response. — Ordered delivery direct from Swiss Chalet (not a delivery app). Food was estimated at 45 minutes. Took 2 hours 10 minutes to arrive, it was cold and the completely wrong order (wrong items, wrong name on the slip). Called and they were apologetic, promised a redo of the order. I offered to come pick up the order in order to expedite things and was given an ETA of 20 minutes. Waited at the restaurant 30 minutes after (50 total). The food was good, but not worth 3+ hours wait. I wasn’t compensated for the wait or for picking up a delivery order to fix their screwup.
This is the Swiss Chalet that is closest to us. We haven’t been here in awhile. The old look was getting pretty tired and they did an awesome job with the renovations a very inviting environment. The service was excellent so was the food. We had cheese perogies for an appetizer and we each had a quarter chicken dinner and we were stuffed love their fries and they serve plenty of them!
Food is delicious and affordable. Staff are friendly. The ambience is relaxed. Just what I needed after a long day at work. I definitely enjoyed my meal. I was also served a free side. It was a newly added item on the menu that they wanted customers to try. It was a great experience.
Great experience here. My server was training a young lady and teaching her the importance of customer service. The service was fast, the food was fresh and deliscious and the location was clean. I'll definitely be back here again.
I just ordered delivery. Soup spilled, gravy missing, pie smashed. Was told they could send a new order but it's the same delivery guy so they can't...
