Bidra med feedbackSuperb lineup of vegan choices. Items weren't labeled (like the rest of the park), but most of the staff had excellent knowledge of how the food was prepared and the ingredients. The food was incredibly delicious! Best buffet line up for a vegan that I have seen yet! Bravo Disney! Money well spent, and the characters going to everyone's tables for photos were cool too of course
Tusker House is located inside Animal Kingdom at Disney. They ask for reservations, and they are one of the places in Disney where you can dine with the characters. They had a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options when we visited including a trio of hummus options, flatbreads, a huge selection of vegetables, some bean dishes, and so much more. There were so many dishes, that we couldn't actually try all of the options. Everything was delicious, and everyone in our party (three of us are vegetarian) enjoyed our meal so much. The only downside is that the meal took quite a while, and despite having reservations, we had to wait for our table. However, we all felt that it was worthwhile, and it was great to take a break and sit for a nice meal. Updated from previous review on 2018-04-21
After two days of having oatmeal, fruit, salads, and fries, we finally struck gold with a delicious vegan breakfast. They even made Mickey waffles! This is an update from my previous review on January 14, 2022.
When we arrived and mentioned that we were vegan, the staff immediately understood our needs. The chef even came to our table to guide us through the buffet and prepared special meals for us, including Mickey waffles and many other delightful dishes.
There are many more vegan options here compared to the similar Boma breakfast buffet. The selection includes a variety of unique hot and cold dishes, in addition to standard items like breads, jams, and fruit. Don't miss the vegan bobotie for breakfast; it's absolutely delicious!
