Bidra med feedbackHave been eating here since I was a kid! The food is okay, but much better than cooking. We travel all over the world and could not feed our large family for what we pay here anywhere and no corkage! Unheard of in this day and age. Always run into people from the past or neighbours we haven had the time to catch up with. Wendy knows our order as soon as we sit down, sounds boring but also easy!
Years ago when the family was much younger we used to go to the River Gardens as the kids could run around outside while the adults chattered.Tonight, after perhaps 20 years, we decided to revisit. The telephone number still did not have the leading '9' which was prefixed to NSW telephone numbers decades ago.The decor was the same.Pricing seemed to be the same - few dishes above $10.00.Now we were not expecting much - this is Oz Chinese old style. Prawn Cutlets and Ham
Great little restaurant. Quite dated inside but the food is good with friendly staff who make great suggestions. We live close by and it is a great fall back on those lazy nights. We often get takeaway as they are not licenced but it is clean inside with about 15 tables. Service is quick and I would recommend it
I have been going here for over 20 years and it has always been the same really nice food. It is not licensed but you can BYO, any type of alcohol. I have seen customers bring in an esky! It certainly is not fine dining but the prices are inexpensive and service is excellent. Great for a cheap night out for a large group or family or you can take away.
Outdated decor from 70s (not cute or retro). Recommend takeaway as restaurant is not great. They still have large lazy Susan's. Very average food - honey king prawns, sweet n sour pork, stir frys, Mongolian lamb, fried rice and spring rolls / dim sims. Years ago the food was better but not so good anymore. Don't recommend.
