Hungry Joe's From The Greek Kitchen In Schnucks

Excellent food and service! We come here often and the food never disappoints! Best gyros and hummus around. Each time there is a new special. This time it was baklava cheesecake which was also delicious! I highly recommend this for Greek food.

My company had Lisa and Joe prepare a catering menu for our bi-monthly office meeting, and they did not disappoint!The food was fresh and delicious and looked like a work of art spread out on a buffet!Everyone was so impressed with the display as well as the taste...If you want to look good at your next corporate event, call Lisa and Joe!!

Had a wonderful lamb shank dinner was awesome Lisa and Joe welcomed us and did everything they could too make me feel welcomed ? and I will definitely be returning and the only reason I gave a 3star for atmosphere is because it's inside of Schnucks and it doesn't have the atmosphere of a greek family restaurant but it's a beautiful Schnucks immaculate! And again Lisa and Joe were the perfect Host at their new location! Looking forward too planning on having a great meal along with getting my shopping done ! ?

Hungry Joe's is in the food hall at Schnuck's in Kirkwood. It is and extension of The Greek Kitchen which recently closed in downtown Kirkwood. The good. We ordered the gyro fries and they were delicious. The fries are made out of fried strips of pita and the meat, feta, lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce are plentiful and tasty. We also ordered the avgelemono soup which was tangy and delicious. The bad. We ordered a cheese pizza. It actually looked really good, very cheesy and well done. Unfortunately, the dough was lifeless and flat, tough in the worst way. The pizza was over sauced and the sauce was terrible. A frozen Red Baron pizza would be a much superior option. After a couple bites, we threw the rest of the pie away. The service was good. I think the Greek items on the menu are a good deal. I might try the hamburger next time.

Ordered from Doordash and they disappointed with their chicken souvlaki and a side of fries. Not much flavor and Fries were very hard. Would not order again.
