Great food, hats off to the cheffs. Great Quality pub with good atmosphere's. Good deals to double up on spirits and Great deal on Gins. Good variety of shots/People/Drinks/Food. Friendly staff and a good night out.

Took a shot at getting a table for a drink. We did try to book in line with the booking routine advertised but nobody responds. So we took a punt to give it a chance. Lots of free tables but soon fills up. Great atmosphere. The service is good, prices good value and every table has a track and trace code and staff ask you to make sure you check in. They are fully masked. They take cards and cash. Full table service and they’ve got an arrangement to get good food delivered in. 2 reasons it didn’t get 5 toilets state 1 at a time but you go in and 3 people already in and many without masks, nobody challenges the behaviour. We’re all responsible to follow the rules folks. Secondly you’re having a drink, planning on a couple then told the table is reserved but no sign on it. So your 3 drinks becomes 1. They’re wooden tables, it’s easy to staple a note to say what time it’s booked from. Help us out folks.

How long have pubs been closed? Went for an outside meet up with friends (first time out and about for months) wrapped up warm etc etc. I asked for a coffee as I was cold. (I don't drink and my friends were drinking wine). No warm drinks being served! Now, I appreciate the restaurant not open yet but how difficult is supplying warm drinks? Especially as the weather is still cold. Missing a trick surely ? Gaelic coffees, hot chocolate and tea would keep people longer. Or am I being naive?

I met up with a few girlfriends for a old school gathering last week. I asked for the house white as the other choice was £3 more per bottle as explained by the young barmaid. I KNOW I bought two bottles of wine that night but on checking my online banking ..I have been charged three times , all different amounts. £11.80 , £10.45 £8.40? Just be careful if using contactless and especially when they take your card into the other bar to scan!
