Bidra med feedbackAmazing Sunday breakfast. It looks closed when you drive in to the car park and if you try to get in through the restaurant door you will still think it’s closed. Be creative go to hotel reception, no obvious sign just look for the door. If you are persistent you will be delighted by the breakfast. We went for Fathers Day breakfast. Choice of raspberries, strawberries, melon, yogurt cereal etc. Followed by cooked breakfast made to order. Beautifully cooked ingredients which. I couldn’t resist toast and marmalade to finish. Choice of a pot of tea or coffee. My only criticism would be that the coffee could be a little stronger but that’s my preference. A lovely food experience sat at a white starched table cloth in a calm environment with lovely staff.
Booked for the Mother’s Day afternoon tea . There were three of us. We were seated and served promptly . We got our tea and coffee . The afternoon tea is nothing special some very basic sandwiches, unfortunately they seemed like they had been “stood” not fresh as they were a little dry. The scones were small, no fruit we weren’t given a choice as to with or without . The Jam and clotted cream were stingy and there was barely enough for two scones let alone three . The cakes were ok, limited in the selection as it was carrot and walnut , and then another carrot like cake, a macaroon which was nice and then a dry chocolate cake . Over all experience wasn’t awful, the staff were ok . The afternoon tea it’s self was not overly expensive but even for the price I think they could have done better .
First class and value for money. The food was really nice in the evening and the staff very helpful and polite. Our wedding day was just perfect and everything went to plan.Th3 staff again were fantastic, the food was lovely and would highly recommend.
My husband and I have just arrived back after a weekend here. What a lovely, relaxing hotel to stay at. Comfortable surroundings in a very warm atmosphere, this beautifully situated hotel is the perfect stop off point to explore the wonderful rolling Dale's. Quite a small room ,however, it was tastefully decorated, warm with a comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. I have to say it was spotlessly clean throughout. The staff were especially helpful and friendly, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Warm friendly smiles from both staff and patrons made a very welcoming visit for us. Again the bar and restaurant were decorated lovely throughout, with two large fires to burn away the winter chills. All in all, my hubby and I had a lovely weekend and hope to return again in the near future. Thank you all at the Pennine Hotel for a relaxing night away with great food and drink. Tracey and Wayne.
We went last Sunday for lunch. Three generations on a family reunion. If it hadn't been for another big birthday party, the restaurant would have been empty. Fortunately we're a lively family and made our own atmosphere. The views are fabulous but we were sitting as far away from the window as possible.
