Meson Le Pepa - Kirklees

My family and I chose this restaurant for our Christmas get together. My husband and I have always enjoyed the original location, which has a great atmosphere, food, and friendly owners. However, it seems that there may be new owners at this new location. While the food was decent, it did not seem to be freshly cooked. This would not have been a big issue for us, but the staff, particularly the main guy, was extremely miserable and rude. Our disabled son tried to interact with him, but he completely ignored him as if he didn't exist. Fortunately, another waiter was more friendly and even high-fived our son. Despite spending nearly £400, we were disappointed with the service and would have expected better, regardless of how much we had spent. A smile and better service would have made a big difference in our overall experience.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic tapas lunch. The food and service were excellent, which was a pleasant surprise. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

I discovered this incredible restaurant right in my neighborhood that I didn't even know existed! The service was quick and polite, and the food was incredibly delicious with a wide selection of tapas to choose from.

Bland overpriced food, tiny portiona. 3 of us shared 9 dishes and were still hungry. Nothing like real tapas at all. Stay away or go next door to Spoons.

Food was ok but a bit bland and when we added up how much we had spent was a lot for not a lot Better tapas places locally but not bad, just average
