Grillish - Kirklees

All I asked for was a burger. The man made me a full meal in which I replied to him I always order just a burger he told me I could not have it. When I asked why I couldn’t have it he told me to leave the shop, threw the burger on the Side and got very aggressive to the point he was screaming in my face. I will not be visiting here again! Attitude was disgraceful!

I am a Support worker, and I took a client into Grillish because he wanted Chicken. We entered, and I asked my client if he wanted to sit down while I ordered the food. I had to take my time because there were so many menus, and we eventually sorted out the menu. The person serving me had been helpful so far. When the meal was ready he called me over, and I tried to take 2 trays for the meals. He grabbed hold of the tray and said one tray, are you normal ?I said did you just ask me if I was normal ?He said yes are you normal ? I said very normal, and you are being really rude . You could see the realisation hit him that not both of us were disabled. I took the meals over and sat down. While we were eating our meal he came over and asked if my client was my brother? I said no, I am a support worker, and he is my client . He apologized, and said he was stressed. Shocking behaviour, and if I had had a learning disability, I may not have been able to confront his discriminatory behaviour, and he would 've got away with belittling me.

I stopped by on Friday night after a few drinks around town. Even though we had already had Thai food earlier in the evening, I was still craving a snack. We decided to order the peri chicken breast in a bun with fries, and I have to admit that I wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious, and the fries weren't greasy at all. My friends and I all really enjoyed our meal. If you're in the mood for a late night snack, this restaurant is a great place to grab some tasty chicken.

Anytime in Huddersfield the place to go for food, day or night... Number 8 on the menu for me all day everyday

The peri peri burger is by far one of the best I have had in comparison to some of the imitations! Staff are lovely, a great bunch of lads! But the reason why I have rated 4 is mainly because the place could do with a de-grease, I.e everything including topping bottles so on! But food defiantly worth it!
