Canton Gardens - Kirklees

In my opinion, it is the best Chinese takeaway that I have had in the UK, and I’m so glad I found it. I order from here, probably once a month, and it is my go to takeaway. I don’t think I’ve had a bad meal… The food is always piping hot and tastes amazing, no matter what I order. The two ladies who answer the phone/serve you at the takeaway are very friendly and lovely to talk to. My favourite meals are duck in plum sauce or deep fried chicken in garlic and chilli sauce for main. The egg fried rice isn’t the horrible pale white rice you get from other chineses. Very cheap prices and big portions.

This is a fantastic takeout spot. The dishes I've ordered here have always been delicious. It's my go-to place for chicken satay.

I waited for nearly 2 hours for my food to arrive. The chicken was burnt, the prawn toast was burnt, and the rice was in lumps. I'm not sure what happened, but I definitely won't be returning after tonight.

This has been my go to Chinese takeaway for years but I think it has changed chef or food supplier as the food was quite bland , the salt and pepper ribs had no seasoning at all . The prawn toast was very fatty and the sweet and sour pork missed its normal taste. Will give it another try

This restaurant is our go-to spot for Chinese takeout. The food is consistently delicious, especially the salt and pepper chips, Singapore noodles, and prawn toast. It can get busy at times, which may result in a wait, but I don't mind as it's worth it.
