Bidra med feedbackThey have a separate vegan menu with many good options and desserts. we had a very nice meal :
Large selection on the vegan menu, very unusual for a non-veganes caffe and in a small city. we sat outside when we had our dogs with us. had fish chips toastie’s, all great!
We checked the main menu and didn't jump out anything than explicitly vegan friendly despite the clear marking on the outside, but after the demand we have the seperate all vegan menu! it had many great options, from fishing and chips to toasties and salats, none of which was over price. the portions were ideal (and we eat in the regular a fair amount) and came with an excellent beside salad. Zero-Qualms, for a small town it was surprising to see somewhere, so a strong effort for plant-based ppl. the personal was really friendly and the atmosphere was really cool and unpredictable to check it out! great!
Separate vegan menu on request with some interesting options. we chose the vegan thun-fish and cheese-aurier toastia and a garlic mushroom/cheese toastie. both came with salate and were delicious. it followed with an excellent vegan biscoff cheesecake. coffee was excellent and was served with vegan biscuits on the side (probably as we had wished the vegan menu). the employees were friendly and tables/seals were thoroughly cleaned between the customers.
We called in for lunch having seen the reviews on Happy Cow. Unfortunately the vegan menu is not brought as a matter of course, I had to ask for it, so bear that in mind if you’re going. I had the vegan chicken goujons which were fab, and hubby had the Mango salad with feta, which he enjoyed. He would’ve gone with the vegan mango feta salad, but the waitress made a point of saying he could have ‘proper’ feta, so they lost a star for that. He happily eats vegan feta all the time. The cafe was very busy, but wait times not too long. I had a tea with oat milk, soy milk is also available. Choice of three vegan desserts, but we were too full to try them.
