They have a stand with books near the toilets in plain view, my daughter was going to borrow one to read while we waited for our food (as usual in Germany, they leave toys and books for the chlidren to play) but the owner barked at her that it was private property and that she should have brought her own (there was no sign saying do not touch) On the plus side, I enjoyed a great pint of wheat beer.
15 of us decided to have a 'get-together ' at the Pilgergaststätte St. Laurentius and we had a very interesting an enjoyable evening. As it was still warm enough, we had our pre dinner drinks sitting outside with a marvellous view over Kirchzarten. We moved inside for dinner, which we enjoyed in a nice cozy atmosphere. The service was quick and efficient. We would definitely go there again.
