Auld Alliance - KINGUSSIE

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It is rare to find a place where it is clear that the owner has achieved a lifelong dream, and Viewmount is exactly that kind of place. From the beautiful Bell room with its stunning panoramic view (as seen in the first photo) to the large ensuite bathroom, to the dining room/library, lounge, and wine cellar, every aspect of this establishment exudes attention to detail. Esther, the owner, is incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. The breakfast is delicious, and the nightly snacks and drinks are a delightful addition. The surroundings are breathtaking, and I had the pleasure of going for a morning run, although the steep slopes made it a bit challenging. I usually don't take my camera or phone with me on runs, but I couldn't resist capturing the beauty around me. Thank you, Esther, for allowing me to be a part of your dream!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Everything was excellent - the breakfast, the view, the comfortable mattress, and Esther's amazing service. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. We can't wait to come back again.

We stayed at the Viewmount for three nights, between Christmas and NYE to break our journey from Glencoe area to Skye. Esther, a wonderful, friendly and friendly host, has an amazing work that this B attention to detail and although in creating a “boutique” feeling, really makes the Viewmount an experience to remember. We loved everything, from cozy and stylish interior and amenities, to beautiful meals (usually only breakfast, but dinners can be prepared by Esther on request. If you have things like nice bed linen, good bathroom (with heated floors, freestanding bathtub good shower, high-quality toiletries, etc., homemade meals you will love the place!

We had a really lovely time at The Viewmount. Thanks so much to Esther for such a warm welcome, for the fabulous food and for the excellent wine selection I now need a cellar to match!

Our experience at Viewmount was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were luxurious and the host was amazing. If you're looking for top-notch accommodation in a beautiful Highland location, look no further. We give it 5 stars and more. We can't wait to return!
