Bidra med feedbackWe came for a Birthday lunch with friends and decided to do the Chef special 3 course meal with wine. AMAZING! Gruyere Souffle, Beef Ribs and Lemon pie too die for. Location is wonderful even on a cold blustery day with an open fire and window views of Port Phillip Bay just meters away. The service staff were friendly yet not in your face. Really can't fault the place. Even though it had been 15 years since I had been for dinner the place has lost none of its charm and elegance. Will definitely be back sooner than the last time.
Mum and I visited on Wednesday for a lovely 3 course lunch by the water. The service we received from David was very attentive and he was very personable. He made our time an enjoyable one, food was delightful but we left absolutely stuffed. Deserts were a nice finish, my favourite is always the panna cotta and the coconut sorbet was nice and refreshing. Thanks David and see you again soon!
I recently received an email from Windows congratulating us on our Anniversary and offering a bottle of wine to celebrate our 50 years together.A nice gesture to take that sort of interest in their clients.As their service & food is always impeccable, we took up the offer.For entrees we selected the Soufflé and Scallops St Jaques, both were delicious. We followed with mains of Flathead Tails, a beautiful Eye Fillet & chips and finished with a delightful Coconut Pana cotta & coffees.Our whole meal was beautifully prepared & served. Thank you Windows on the Bay for a great lunch and service, not to mention the bottle of bubbly we had with the meal.We have been many times and we will return.
Went to windows on the bay for a family gathering on Friday night. What a beautiful place. The service was absolutely fantastic, the food was yummy and plenty of it. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. We will be back without a doubt.
Four of us, others vouchers, from the moment we entered we were greeted by a very happy, lively, caring waitress, fun way to start off a lunch and afternoon.We had the scallops for entre, absolutely delicious, others had salmon, also delicious.We had the eye fillet, the others pork belly and the duck with Kepler potatoes, Dutch carrots, beans, between us.Our meat was tender and tender, tasty sauce and vegetables were cooked to perfection.Pork belly was melting on fork and duck was soft and tasty friends said.Dessert we had the brown sugar tart, which is really more than the name implies, creative dessert. Chocolate mousse and panacota equally praised The view and ambience was excellent, the staff are to be commended for excellent service making our day fun.We recommend this restaurant for all the above.
