Staff are so nice! And it's sad that in this day and age this isn't the norm. But yes very friendly nothing is too much. They even sat 11 of us in a moments notice. Food came out really well, I love the charity side...More

Brilliant location, as it's just outside the movies. I recommend the low carb burger bun which was surprisingly tasty! With the Grass-fed lean beef, Dijon mustard burger with sweet potato chips.

Dined in here this evening. The service was quick and the burgers were nice. Hadn't been in for a while and the new restaurant layout is a good improvement. We did notice something that concerned us though. We noticed a little boy vomit and the staff quickly attended to cleaning it up but was surprised to see the female staff member wiping up the mess without gloves. We then noticed as she walked across the restaurant she was touching/wiped her hand on her apron. Shortly after I we saw the same girl leaning into the display cabinet, where they store the salads etc for putting on the burgers, still wearing the same apron. As she was leaning into the cabinet her apron was now resting against a plate and bench the burgers were prepared on. Hopefully no germs were then passed on to other customers but was just a bit concerned with the lack of care taken in protecting other diners from potentially ingesting germs from someone else's vomit. Hopefully management see this post and improve their training and cleaning processes. Not only for their customers but for their staff as well.

Thursday night and opted for a hamburger meal, hopefully sit down and a no fuss meal. After ordering two burgers we sat and waited, and waited , and waited.... no burgers coming our way. Lost order I assume ! After a quick request we were served in a very short period of time. The chicken burger was very ordinary and was supposed to have chilli, not on this burger, no sign of any chilli. Meat burger was ok , no complaints, nice taste as we had previously experienced, Now we were then asked about our dining experience and we mentioned all of the above. Answer in reply was "fine" . This young CS representative could not care and I doubt whether our complaint was taken to the next level. $34 two burgers and two soft drinks and regular chips is quite a bit over the top and coupled with an ignorant reply to our complaint made for a very ordinary experience. No more Grill'd for us at Southland !
