Bidra med feedbackI have visited this restaurant multiple times and the staff are consistently friendly, the food is tasty, and the coffee is exceptional. It is also a great spot to purchase wine and other gourmet items, all of which are top-notch and make great gifts. I highly suggest trying the pastel de nata while you're here - it's a must-try! I cannot recommend this place enough!
Beautiful coffee house. The place is so much more than that it sells some great Portuguese products from alcoholic spirits, wine and produce. We went in simply there for herbal tea and were made to feel so welcome. The owner brought over a selection of almonds raspberries for us to sample. Take my advice and try it.
Karl and I stumbled across this hidden gem whilst looking for somewhere else! It 's tucked away in the Griffin Centre, just off Kingston Market Place. It 's a cafe-cum-shop, so you can browse for sardines and Portuguese wine whilst waiting for your food. We particularly loved sitting on the high stools by the window, and watching the passers-by. We both had a bowl of wonderfully gloopy soup, a chicken pie, and a lemonade, and the bill was about £11 each. Mimosa 's vibes are very good. We 'll be back. Dr Paul Harris
My father and I went to this restaurant for the first time today. He discovered it by doing a Google search for places to have lunch and was impressed by the excellent reviews. The interior of the restaurant was charming, with a deli-like atmosphere, and the food we ordered was incredibly tasty. I would suggest trying any of their croquettes, but my personal favorite was the cheese and cumin. And definitely save room for the custard tart for dessert! I highly recommend this place.
We met mum and a friend for lunch. My husband loved his pork and fava dish with rice. I had salt cod and mum and our friend had traditional custard tarts we had a couple of other goodies on the table all washed down with a really lovely dry Portuguese white. Super lunch and friendly service in a lovely setting. Will definitely be going back, I fancy trying the platter next time
