Pizza Hot - Kingston upon Hull, City of

Waited 2 hours for food, rang the restaurant and when I asked how long my food would be the girl responded with ‘10 minutes’ and then put the phone down on me, she didn’t ask what the order was or where it was getting delivered too, shocking service, there’s no surprise it’s the only takeaway open until the early hours, their staff are shocking with a terrible attitude.

I ordered 3 pieces of chicken and received one dried-out leg and 2 unappetizing grey pieces. The chicken was slimy and the chips were hard, with no salad or sauce provided. The pizza was disappointing, with a very thin and overcooked topping on a thin base. Everything tasted greasy and unpleasant. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Chose here as it offered Gluten Free pizzas. Of the 4 toppings chosen for the GF base one was missing all together and one was so sparse we thought it wasn’t there. The 2nd pizza, a vegetarian supreme, contained mushrooms and a few bits of onion. No olives and no sweetcorn as advertised. There was however sweetcorn in the coleslaw !! and so much salt it was inedible. First and last time ordering from here.

We made the mistake of ordering from Uber Eats for delivery and unfortunately, our food never arrived. After contacting Pizza Hot, they promised to check with the driver but never did. Despite ordering at 6:15pm, by 8:45pm we still had not received our order. The next day, we received a receipt stating that the driver had delivered to a nearby house (which turned out to be my honest neighbor who did not receive any food). After struggling to file a complaint with Uber, they told me to contact the restaurant for a refund. Despite having all my information in my account, Uber offered no explanation for the failure to deliver my order. The total cost of the meal was over £18, and we ended up going without any food that night. We will never use Uber again and will definitely not be ordering from Pizza Hot, who showed no concern for their mistake.
