Hull Sashimi

I had a really enjoyable dining experience at this restaurant. The food was very tasty, and I especially liked the gyoza. The staff were friendly when we picked up our order.

We ordered sushi to be delivered on Saturday 13 Feb at 7.30pm, it hadn’t arrived by 8.10pm so we called to chase, and were told “the delivery driver is setting off in 10 mins “. We waited another half an hour until 20.40, we then called to chase again and were told exactly the same thing. “Setting off in 10 minutes.” The sushi finally arrived at 9.20pm, nearly 2 hours late!! There was also no chop sticks, only 1 wasabi for two sets, we ordered tuna dynamite set and received something else with crab sticks inside and no tuna. We were thinking maybe something would be sent complimentary in form of an apology but nothing! If it wasn’t for the fact that we had already paid for the food, we would have cancelled it much earlier, instead we were sat hungry waiting for nearly 2 hours with no apology. The overall experience was very disappointing, especially after we were given a recommendation to order from them.

Ordered a takeaway for collection. it was ready just after i arrived and was lookinn forward to it but the first thing i noticed was how light and small the containers were. my gyoza was over done and a but burnt and three very small dumplings in a container full of lettuce. the sushi was nice but very small portion for the price. in all i found it a nice meal but a little overpriced and needing a little more execution

The sushi is amazing so tasty and fresh. Loved it. The ramen was ok. It was presented really well, big portion, plenty of toppings and the prawn tempura on the top was delicious but the ramen really lacked flavour and the soup was bland. Would return for the sushi and tempura but would not have the ramen again. Friendly and fast service too. Overall would recommended.

The food here is amazing, probably some of the best Japanese food I've ever had in the whole of the UK. The food is consistently great and the wait is never long. There's a huge variety on the menu and the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Although it's slightly expensive, I think it's definitely worth the money and I've never had a bad experience here, I'd definitely recommend coming here.
