El Toro - Kingston upon Hull, City of

I want to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience. The restaurant was very cold and when I went to the bathroom, my food had been delivered to the table and the waitress had spilled piri piri sauce on the expensive lining of my new coat. Despite my friends pointing it out to her, she did not apologize and only brought some anti-bacterial spray. When I asked for hot water and a sponge instead, she laughed and said the sponge would be dirtier than my now dirty coat, and ultimately only brought a piece of tissue. I never received an apology or a check on the status of my coat, and the lack of communication was unacceptable. I reached out to the restaurant privately on Facebook but received no response, prompting me to write this review. I will not be returning to this establishment.

We were suggested El Toro by a family member and decided to go there for a special birthday celebration with family and friends. We were not let down. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The service was fantastic and the food was superb. We were very impressed and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you, El Toro, for a job well done.

My family of five recently celebrated our GCSE and A-Level results at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We visited on a Sunday and enjoyed the all-you-can-eat tapas. The alcoholic Sangria was wonderful, even better than the non-alcoholic version.

First time at this restaurant and it won't be the last. Great place wonderful food great service would recommend this place to anyone seven of us ate six with the all you can eat and one from the main menu All enjoyed the food and the atmosphere prices match the whole experiance. Value

Really good quality food, everything had a good level of flavour and service was excellent. All you can eat menu offered a lot of variety and good for vegans/vegetarians too with many options to choose from. Only improvement is the patatas bravas needed to be a bit crispier and the bravas sauce needed slightly more spice but other than that is was brilliant!
