Blue Water Cafe

Service very slow. Childs lasagne very dried up came with overdone chips rather than garlic bread. Pie of the day disappointing, pastry far too hard and dried up, plus well done overcooked chips. No fish available so had to have jacket with tuna. Potato overcooked, the potato was burnt and stuck to the inside skin, also lukewarm, salad also disappointing . Coffee was ok. Would not recommended and wont be visiting again. Should have complained.

Nice place, clean and tidy staff friendly the food is ok and reasonably priced. Chilled atmosphere in a nice location

An hour and a half left for breakfast service and they have ran out of items despite the place being essentially empty. No alternative offered. Staff standoffish

Thought this would be nice for my brother from South Africa who thoroughly enjoyed his steak pie. However…. Asked for a glass for water whoops. Lipstick very clear on glass not noticed bY waiter. Went to counter to get another and Whoops another glass with food ? Juice residue 3rd time lucky had a reasonably clean glass. I ordered the Special Tacos with salsa, cheese and guacamole. Oh dear. I received tortilla crisps covered in melted cheese no salsa no guacamole but given a mayonnaise dip as “the chef hasn’t made guacamole”. Unedible, left half as basically a plate of some whole tortillas with crumbs underneath. Did complain and was given a refund and I said it should be removed from specials board but was told that the afternoon chef coming on did know how to make guacamole so leaving it on. I wonder how many other unsatisfied customers that day. Very disappointing will never return first visit and never again

Fabulous breakfast, everything well cooked tasty, good value for money. Served until 12 so perfect hangover cure. Fully recommend
