We just moved to kingston upon thames and had family visited by yorkshire over the weekend. the staff at the wych elm could no longer have been accommodating, offering high chairs and attentive table service in the beautiful garden area. the sundays and children's roasts we ordered were excellent, perfect roast and chicken portions were a very good size. the tasty yorkshire puddings even met with the permission of a demanding baptism of leeds! our picky 8 and 3 years old swallowed their miniwurst and fish goujons with big chips. all in all, a warm welcome from extremely friendly bar staff, great eating, beautiful environment and quality ales on tap very satisfied, have found our new local. the renter is of the old school, present and takes time to speak with the client and everyone feels welcome. well made to the wych elm we are very happy to come back soon.
