Downtown Cafe - Kingston

Since the late 90s days of the Downtown Cafe, I have only delighted in the culinary art and warm generous nature of Graziano Tecchio. Grazi takes food into his hands with love and respect, rendering perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked dish after dish. We love sitting at the counter, watching him stir, sautee and plate...for Us and for others. We love his intensity and his humor. Cannot recommend more highly.

Really special food, intimate ambiance, gluten-free alternatives, reasonable prices. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Had an incredible time, you can tell the chef enjoys experimenting and being creative with his dishes. Server Zack was phenomenal, very informed on the menu and the specials. I had the smoked trout and my girlfriend had the guanciale, both were incredible as well as the heirloom tomato salad we had as an appetizer.

I can’t say enough about the quality and deliciousness of this restaurant. Very Mediterranean. Handmade pasta. Local grass fed meat and other ingredients. Vegans and vegetarians can eat here too. Yummy yummy yummy.
