Smoke's Poutinerie - Kingston

This restaurant in Kingston serves up delicious smoked meats at a reasonable price. The fries were also excellent.

We were in a mood. The staff was polite and helpful, and waiting wasn't too long for the poutins we ordered. Both were delicious and we are likely to smoke again when we go for poutins.

Great staff and management! I had ordered a poutin that had deep-fried cheese cures. The taste did not seem right, almost as if the cheese was only extra frits. I had originally thought they had made a mistake, but the manager explained which parts the cheese curds were. Despite the fact that it was my fault, the manager was more than happy to give me a free teenager on the house. I even offered a free drink. Definitely earn my loyalty with his help.

On my last day in Canada before heading back to Miami, FL, I went in search of some poutine. I found a restaurant on Queen Street that was easy to locate and not very busy. My boyfriend and I decided to try the triple pork poutine, which was topped with chipotle pulled pork, double-smoked bacon, and Italian sausage. Although we had to wait a little longer than expected for our food, the portion size was decent, the dish was tasty, and the prices were affordable. While it may not have been the best poutine I've ever had, I appreciated the variety of options available. Overall, it was a satisfying meal before my departure.
